With a long running history dated back in the 1980s, Wanton Noodle House’s family recipe has been carried on through 3 generations. A simple signboard and exterior, you’ll easily spot its outstanding red banner when you’re there in the evening.
Right now their promotion was whenever you purchased a bowl of their noodles, it comes with one complimentary drink of barley, water chestnut or lime juice total at $5.
It was nothing special about. To be honest, the noodle was average at best, they could have had more flavors and more Q noodle to stand out from the other wanton mee dishes anywhere else.
The chicken feet was braised but my taste bud says otherwise, it was not even braised fully at all, the chicken feet are tender yes but could taste they did not braise for long.
The Ngoh Hiang was crispy outside but the meat on the inside is not tender which will spread out once you bite it.
The general flavors of the food are not too bad, though nothing outstanding, it is a restaurant complete with air-conditioning.
However, for the price we paid ($49 in total for 6 pax), we would have enjoyed it better if the portion of everything were given more. To each their own, so drop by to try it out for yourself.
